About

Save Newcastle Wildlife is a campaign group that aims to protect wildlife and the green belt in and around Newcastle, and to improve public access to the countryside.

The group was established in early 2015 in response to growing threats to wildlife and green spaces in and around the city and grew largely from of the Save Gosforth Wildlife group, which was instrumental in overturning plans for 600 houses adjacent to Gosforth Park Nature Reserve in 2011.

Aims and Objectives
